Well, “revealed” is perhaps too strong a word: Top Buried Stories is just another feature of Ajaxonomy’s Bury Recorder, which records the number of buries (negative votes) for all Digg stories. As discussed by Muhammad Saleem two weeks ago, Bury Recorder can only work with the data Digg’s API gives it, and that means about 10% of the actual buries, which makes it quite inaccurate. Therefore, Bury Recorder’s list of top buried stories is equally inaccurate. However, if you’re not interested in actual, precise numbers, and would like to learn about statistics and trends when it comes to Digg buries, this tool can be quite useful. ![]() Popularity: 2% [?] |
